400 Bags of Fake Fertilizers seizes in kulgam district,Kashmir
On Tuesday morning, officials from the agriculture enforcement wing confiscated 400 bags of counterfeit fertilizers in the Ladgoo area of Kulgam district. According to a statement from Director Agriculture Kashmir, Choudhary Mohammad Iqbal, the enforcement team, led by him, undertook the operation to seize the duplicate spurious fertilizers.
Choudhary Mohammad Iqbal mentioned that the ongoing efforts to combat the proliferation of fake fertilizers in the Kashmir valley remain steadfast. He informed that the enforcement team successfully apprehended and confiscated approximately 400 bags of duplicate spurious fertilizers during the operation in Ladgoo.
The Director Agriculture Kashmir emphasized a continued commitment to safeguarding the interests of farmers by ensuring the availability of genuine agricultural inputs such as fertilizers, pesticides, and seeds. Choudhary Mohammad Iqbal warned that strict action would be taken against any violations of established norms in the distribution and sale of agricultural products in the region. He concluded by stating that similar actions against counterfeit agricultural inputs would persist in the future to uphold the integrity of farming practices in the Kashmir valley.
