Tension Grips Bihar’s Gopalganj After Priest’s Murder, Eyes Gouged Out
The tragic incident in Bihar’s Gopalganj district involving the murder of 32-year-old priest Manoj Kumar has sent shockwaves through the community.
The discovery of his body, with injuries and his eyes gouged out, has sparked outrage, leading to clashes in the village.
Kumar, missing since Monday night after leaving the Shiva temple in Danapur village, was found dead, prompting his family to file a missing complaint.
Subsequent protests erupted in the village due to alleged police negligence, resulting in clashes, injuries to officers, and the burning of a police vehicle.
Pranjal, the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, assured that the situation was now under control, with additional police deployed to prevent further unrest.
A probe has been initiated, and efforts to apprehend the suspects are underway.
