Sinha urged for the cessation of further debate on the matter.Highlighting positive developments, Sinha pointed out a substantial increase of 350 percent in the arrival of foreign tourists to the Valley. Furthermore, the number of domestic tourists exceeded two crore this year, benefiting all stakeholders in the tourism sector.

Shah had outlined a three-step process: the establishment of a Delimitation Commission, holding elections, and subsequently restoring Statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
Sinha confirmed that the delimitation process had commenced after the revision of voter lists, aligning with assurances made by the Solicitor General in an affidavit to the Supreme Court.Sinha also disclosed that Paharis would soon receive reservations, citing a bill introduced in the Lok Sabha during the Parliament’s Monsoon session. He underscored the empowerment felt by Pakistani refugees, Gorkhas, and others settled in Jammu and Kashmir post the abrogation of Article 370.
Political reservations were granted to Kashmiri Pandits, allowing them to obtain domicile certificates in Jammu and Kashmir, regardless of their place of residence.
Highlighting inclusive measures, Sinha mentioned the compensation of Rs 5.5 lakh given to PoJK and West Pakistani refugees, reservations for OBCs and Dalits in jobs and education, and the addition of new castes as OBCs.
Furthermore, nine seats in the Assembly were reserved for STs. Sinha noted the historic Muharram procession in Srinagar by Shias after a gap of 34 years.
