    A 21-year-old man was arrested in Greater Noida for posting derogatory remarks about the Indian Constitution on social media. The incident occurred on Constitution Day, with the accused, identified as Bhanu alias Jyass, making the remarks on his Instagram account.

    Legal Action Initiated

    Following a written complaint received at the Jarcha police station, an FIR was lodged against Bhanu. He was subsequently arrested on Sunday. The FIR includes charges under IPC section 354, pertaining to intentional insult with the intent to provoke breach of the peace, and under Section 67 of the Information Technology Act.

    Accused’s Profile and Further Proceedings

    Jarcha police station in-charge Sunil Kumar stated that Bhanu is currently unemployed. The accused is set to be produced before an executive magistrate for further legal proceedings, ensuring due process in response to his actions on social media.
