SIA Seizes JeM-Linked Orchards in Anti-Terror Operation
On Thursday, the State Investigation Agency (SIA) of Jammu and Kashmir Police took action by attaching the apple orchard belonging to an overground worker associated with the Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) terror outfit in the Pulwama district of south Kashmir, as confirmed by an official from the SIA.
According to the SIA, the attached property spans seven kanals and seven marlas of land in Arigam Chirath village and is registered under the name of Ghulam Nabi Wani, the father of the accused Ishfaq Ahmad Wani. The attachment was executed under Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UA(P)A) through an order issued on November 13, 2023, by the competent authority.
