Redmi K100 Launch Confirmed, Likely to Come With 10,000mAh Battery and Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip

Xiaomi’s sister brand Redmi has announced the launch of its Redmi K100 smartphone in China later this month. Redmi revealed the launch date on its Weibo account, but did not state the specifications or the official release date.

The first teaser posted by the company shows the camera module on the back of the phone featuring a pair of cameras alongside a sizeable circular one. Redmi has also teased that the device will feature a large battery and gaming performance similar to high-end flagship phones.

The specifications and features are as follows. Resolution K100 is on pre-reservation in China. Adeposit of CNY 9.9 is required for pre-ordering and it is eligible to receive launch gift pack with purchase.

Images hint that the phone might have a 6.9-inch OLED screen, a Snapdragon 8 Elite-series chipset and a huge 10,000mAh battery, but nothing has been announced officially so far.

The K100 will be the third in line after Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max. Those phones were launched in China back in August.
Prior leaks claimed that the Redmi K100 will be priced at CNY 3,500 (roughly Rs. 50,000).

The final price will be announced when the smartphone is officially launched.
