- If not improved, will go up for Mass agitation against PMGSY
The recent heavy rainlash has exposed the hollow claims of the road network in chenab valley brutally, leading to the dilapidated condition of roads everywhere. It seems, the concerned authorities is turning the muteness towards public intrest issue.
Same is the condition in Doda’s kastigarh, where the dilapidated condition roads irks the resident. The residents have expressed strong resentment again the callous attitude of the administration and concerned authority towards the improvement of the road condition.
On Saras-kastigarh, Chil-Gagla PMGSY road, the work process of crash barriers seems unsatisfactory, where the potholes/pits are lying, giving invitation to accidents, and also these spots weakens the protection wall and its basement. It can further leads to cracks in protection walls of roads, ultimately leads to shedding of walls.
The residents while expressing their resentment further stated, “the blacktop on the roads has gone faded away, now, leading to the increase in public sufferage”.
The residents urged administration and concerned department to asaply improve the condition of road. If the condition remains same, we will be forced to hit roads for protest against the authorities
