International mediator Faisal Muhammed revealed to VoM News that Donald Trump’s return is strategically tied to finalizing the Abraham Accords. While initial steps united several Muslim states with Israel, deeper regional fears about Israel’s territorial ambitions paused full normalization.

Faisal disclosed that Pakistan is under significant pressure from both the Biden administration and its own military establishment to join the Abraham Accords. Under General Bajwa’s urging, Imran Khan cautiously engaged Israel, offering recognition only if an independent Palestinian state was established — a proposal Israel rejected. Faisal warned that the current regime, formed after Imran’s ousting, is prepared to fully normalize ties with Israel unconditionally.
