Vivo is all set to unveil its next flagship series, the Vivo X100, in China on November 13. This eagerly anticipated series is expected to supersede the Vivo X90 lineup, positioning itself as the brand’s leading flagship series of smartphones in the market. Much like its predecessors, the Vivo X100 is rumored to consist of three models: the base Vivo X100, Vivo X100 Pro, and Vivo X100 Pro+. Extensive details regarding these smartphones have already surfaced, and a recent report claims to have the complete specifications for the base Vivo X100 model.

Variants and Expected Price

The Vivo X100 is likely to be offered in four storage variants: 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB. The starting price for the phone is expected to be around CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 45,600). Color options for the model are reported to include Black, Blue, Orange, and White. It’s worth noting that the Vivo X90 was launched with a price of CNY 3,699 (around Rs. 42,000) for its 8GB + 128GB variant.

Impressive Display and High-End Specs

The upcoming Vivo X100 is anticipated to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,800 x 1,260 pixels and a remarkable 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, coupled with LPDDR5T RAM and UFS 4.0 inbuilt storage. It is expected to run on Android 14-based OriginOS 4.

Enhanced Camera Capabilities and More

In the camera department, the Vivo X100 is rumored to sport a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.6, another 50-megapixel ultrawide camera with OIS support, and a focal length of f/2.0, and a third 64-megapixel periscope shooter offering 3x optical zoom, f/2.6 aperture, and 100x digital zoom. The camera system may also incorporate a laser focus system. The phone’s front camera is expected to house a 32-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

Long-Lasting Battery and Advanced Connectivity

The base Vivo X100 is reported to pack a robust 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W wired fast charging. For connectivity, the phone is said to offer Bluetooth 5.4, an IR sensor, WiFi 7, NFC, and it might even come with India’s homegrown satellite navigation system, NavIC. The handset is expected to weigh 205 grams and measure 164mm x 75.2mm x 8.5mm in size.
