Following the launch of Vivo’s X100 series featuring the X100 and X100 Pro powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, reports hint at a new addition to the lineup – the Vivo X100 Pro+. Leaked details anticipate significant enhancements over its predecessors.

Tipster Digital Chat Station disclosed on Weibo that the X100 Pro+ is expected to showcase a Samsung 2K display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a considerable leap from the current BOE-supplied OLED panels with 1.5K resolution on the existing models. Notably, the phone could include a powerful 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 camera, similar to other rumored devices like the Oppo Find X7 Pro and Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

The leaked specifications hint at a 6.78-inch display and a remarkable 200-megapixel telephoto rear camera. Additionally, it might feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for security and could boast an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The Vivo X100 Pro+ is anticipated to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, diverging from the Dimensity 9300 chipset seen in the X100 and X100 Pro.

Launched in China in November, the X100 series has confirmed its imminent arrival in India, boasting Android 14-based OriginOS 4. Both models offer curved 6.78-inch 8 LTPO AMOLED displays with up to 120Hz refresh rates, Zeiss-branded triple rear cameras, and Vivo’s V3 chip for advanced image processing.

The X100 houses a 5,000mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging, while the X100 Pro sports a 5,400mAh unit with 100W charging and 50W wireless charging. Moreover, they feature an IP68-rated build for robust water and dust resistance.

With the speculated features, the Vivo X100 Pro+ is poised to introduce premium upgrades, especially in camera capabilities and display technology, aiming to further elevate the X100 series’ standing in the competitive smartphone market.
