Vande Bharat Express from Katra to Delhi to Include Stops at Udhampur and Kathua Starting December 30th
The upcoming Vande Bharat Express train, set to commence its journey from Katra to Delhi on December 30, will include stops at Udhampur and Kathua railway stations, announced Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh on Sunday.
The minister emphasized that the inclusion of Udhampur and Kathua as stops on the train route will not only be a significant source of relief but will also enhance the convenience of travel, facilitate business activities, and contribute to an overall improvement in the quality of life.
Dr. Jitendra Singh expressed his appreciation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for promptly addressing the persistent demand for the train to halt in Kathua and Udhampur.
In a post on social media, the Union Minister conveyed, “Heartening news for Udhampur and Kathua. Since the inception of the first Vande Bharat train route between Katra and Delhi in 2019, there has been a continuous plea for its stoppage in Kathua and Udhampur. Thanks to PM Narendra Modi for responding to our request.”
He further added, “This development will not only bring relief but also enhance travel convenience, facilitate business operations, and contribute to an overall improvement in the quality of life.”
