University of Balochistan Employees Demand Overdue Salaries
Leaders of the joint action committee, including Professor Kaleemullah Barech, Shah Ali Bugti, Nazir Ahmed Lehri, Fareed Khan Achakzai, and others, voiced concerns over the non-payment of salaries and pensions to professors and employees of the University of Balochistan (UoB) for the past three months.
Protest and Rally Actions
Despite organizing protest rallies, sit-ins, and demonstrations outside various governmental offices and the University of Balochistan main gate, the provincial and federal governments have yet to address their demands.
Appeal for Support
The joint action committee has called upon political parties, student organizations, civil societies, lawyers, and journalists to join their protest, emphasizing the critical need for the disbursement of overdue salaries and pensions to UoB’s professors and employees.
