United Kingdom Launches India Young Professionals Scheme
The United Kingdom has introduced the India Young Professionals Scheme, allowing 3,000 Indian citizens aged 18-30 to settle, work, or study in the UK for up to two years.
The scheme operates through a ballot system, and eligible candidates can enter the ballot from February 20 to February 22.
To participate, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or a higher education certificate, provide personal details, passport information, and show savings of at least GBP 2,530.
Successful entries will be randomly chosen, and selected candidates will have up to 90 days to apply for the visa, which costs £298.
The initiative is part of the UK-India Mobility and Migration Partnership, focusing on strengthening immigration laws and cooperation.
