Two Drug Peddlers Arrested in Gandoh Area with Narcotics
Doda, May 27: In a significant operation, J&K Police District Doda apprehended two individuals with narcotics in the Gandoh area. A police team from the Gandoh station was conducting a routine patrolling and vehicle check in the Tipri area of Kahaljugassar Gandoh when they noticed two persons approaching on a motorcycle (Regd No JK06-7847).

Upon being stopped for inspection, the suspects attempted to flee but were promptly apprehended by the police. The individuals were identified as Mushtaq Ahmed, son of Ali Mohd from Soti Gandoh, and Nissar Ahmed, son of Manwar Din Mir from Soti Tehsil Gandoh. A personal search revealed a substance resembling cannabis (charas) in their possession.
A case has been registered under FIR No. 60/2024, invoking relevant provisions of the NDPS Act at the Gandoh Police Station, and further investigation is underway….(VoM)
