Two Drug Peddlers Arrested by Doda Police; Contraband Seized

Doda 28 March-2025: During the intervening night of 27/28 March-2025, Doda Police have made a significant breakthrough in their drive against drug peddlers by arresting two individuals, Babu Ram S/O Mool Raj R/o Uggad Doda (3/4 grms ) and Bilal Ahmed S/O Mohd Ishaq Wani R/o Sadiqabad Doda (2/3 grms ) and seizing approximately 5-7 grams of heroin from their possession.

The arrests were made during a vehicle checking operation near the Agricultural Chowk in Doda, led by SHO PS Doda Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed and DySP Hqrs Sh Ajay Anand

This operation is part of the police’s ongoing efforts to eradicate the drug menace in Doda district. The police have emphasized their commitment to taking strict action against those involved in drug trafficking and abuse.

The arrests were made by Police team under the supervision of SSP Doda Sandeep Mehta-JKPS. In this regards a case FIR No 71/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act registered at PS Doda. Further investigation is going on.

The police have urged the community to stay alert and support their efforts in the fight against drugs.
