Two individuals tragically lost their lives when their vehicle plunged from a bridge in the Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on a fateful Wednesday, as confirmed by local law enforcement.
The incident occurred at Bagiyal Morh, near Barnoti, while the truck was en route from Pathankot in Punjab to Jammu, according to authorities. The unfortunate victims have been identified as Balwant Singh and Ranjeet Singh, both hailing from the Taran Taran district of Punjab.

The rescue operation was a challenging one, with responders grappling to extricate the bodies from the severely damaged vehicle that bore the brunt of the fall impact, according to a police official. The deceased have been transported to the Government Medical College in Kathua for a post-mortem examination, as stated by the same official.
