Toshakhana Case: Founder PTI and Bushra Bibi sentenced to 14, 14 years in prison
On Wednesday, an Accountability Court sentenced Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi to 14 years each in the Toshakhana case.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) filed the reference on December 19, last year. Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were disqualified from holding public office for 10 years, and a fine of Rs787 million was imposed.
This follows a recent development where a special court under the Official Secrets Act sentenced Imran Khan and his foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi to 10 years in prison for the breach of state secrets.
