Cannabis Culture Takes Center Stage on Broadway

The Travel Agency’s connection to Broadway runs deep. Srđa, the brand’s Senior Manager of Brand Engagement, began their career in theater, working on productions like Mothers and Sons and Deaf West’s Spring Awakening. Reflecting on the evolution of cannabis in cultural spaces, Srđa recalls, “I remember organizing underground 4/20 concerts with some of today’s top Broadway performers. We used to be scared to promote them, so it’s amazing to see cannabis now recognized as a legitimate part of the culture.” Through initiatives like its Playbill partnership and sponsorship of new musicals like An Axemas Story at 54 Below, The Travel Agency is creating opportunities for cannabis to complement Broadway’s ongoing tradition of reinvention.
