On Sunday afternoon, tragedy struck in Kawari Jaggerpora, Kupwara District, as a teenage girl lost her life after slipping into Pohru Nallah. The victim, identified as Sadiya Maqbool, daughter of Mohammad Maqbool Shah, had been washing clothes near the water source when she accidentally slipped and fell into the nallah.

After a grueling and desperate effort, they managed to retrieve Sadiya from the water. Unfortunately, she was found in an unconscious state, raising fears for her condition.
