Tecno Camon 30 Series Launches in Nigeria

Tecno recently launched the Camon 30 series in Nigeria, comprising the Camon 30 Pro 5G, Camon 30 5G, and base Camon 30 models. These smartphones, initially unveiled at MWC 2024, boast MediaTek chipsets, 5,000mAh batteries, and support for up to 70W wired fast charging, along with stereo speakers featuring Dolby Atmos support.

The Tecno Camon 30 base model is priced at NGN 2,73,000 for the 8GB + 256GB variant and NGN 3,21,500 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. Meanwhile, the Camon 30 5G is listed at NGN 4,52,000, and the Camon 30 Pro 5G at NGN 5,38,000. Each model offers distinct colour options.

The Tecno Camon 30 Pro 5G boasts a 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, 12GB RAM, and 512GB storage. Its camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor, complemented by a 50MP front camera. It houses a 5,000mAh battery with 70W fast charging and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Camon 30 5G and Camon 30 4G feature similar displays as the Pro variant but support up to 120Hz refresh rate. The 5G model has a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC, while the 4G variant sports a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. They share OS, battery, and selfie camera specifications with the Camon 30 Pro 5G, while their dual rear cameras include a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The 5G variant supports 70W fast charging, while the 4G model supports 45W wired fast charging, with both models featuring in-display fingerprint scanners.
