
Teacher Suspended in North Kashmir Over Harassment Allegations
A teacher employed at a government school in northern Kashmir’s Baramulla district has been suspended in the wake of allegations of harassment brought forth by a female student.
Following a thorough investigation conducted by an assigned team, the matter was subsequently elevated to the attention of the Chief Education Officer (CEO) of Baramulla, according to sources.

Reliable insiders who are well-versed in the investigation have disclosed that the teacher’s suspension ensued after the student’s allegations were substantiated.Additionally, it has come to light that this teacher has been the subject of similar complaints in the past.
Meanwhile, an official from the CEO’s office in Baramulla has confirmed that the accused individual (whose name is being withheld) stationed at Trikanjan has been suspended with immediate effect. During this period, the said teacher will be assigned to the CEO’s office in Baramulla.
