Teacher killed, another injured in tragic road accident in Shopian district
SRINAGAR: A teacher lost his life, and another person was injured in a road accident in South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday.
An official said that the accident occurred at Largam, Shopian, when a vehicle hit a motorcyclist, resulting in the death of a teacher and injuries to another person.
“The deceased has been identified as Riyaz Ahmad Dar, son of Mohd Ibrahim Dar from Kundalan, Shopian.
The injured has been identified as Sajad Ahmad Shah, son of Gh Mohd Shah, a resident of Largam, who has been taken to a hospital for treatment,” he said.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance and started an investigation—(KNO)
