A Technological Revolution: Smart Features and Seamless Experience
The electric buses come equipped with advanced features, including Universal Access and HVAC systems, on-board vehicle tracking, CCTV, and emergency stop facilities. To enhance passenger convenience, a dedicated mobile app and online ticket payment facility have been developed. All buses are seamlessly integrated with Srinagar Smart City’s Integrated Command & Control Centre, ensuring efficient operations and real-time monitoring.
The future of public transportation in Srinagar looks promising, and this marks just the beginning. With a dream of Metro Rail becoming a reality in Srinagar and Jammu, the region is poised for a transformative shift in urban mobility. As the city embraces electric buses and sustainable transport solutions, it’s on the path to becoming a model for other urban centers seeking to reduce their carbon footprint and improve the quality of life for their residents.
