Sarang Helicopter Display Team Shines in Singapore Airshow Practice Display
The Sarang helicopter display team of the Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted its first practice display in Singapore ahead of the Singapore Airshow, scheduled to commence on Tuesday.
Operating from the Changi airbase of the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), the Sarang team showcased the agility and manoeuvrability of the Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH Dhruv), manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).
This marks the first international display for the Sarang team in Singapore since their debut at the Asian Aerospace Airshow in 2004.
The Sarang Helicopter Display Team, formed in 2003, has evolved from a three-helicopter to a thrilling five-helicopter formation, impressing audiences worldwide with over 1200 displays at more than 385 venues.
