Samsung, following the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5, has now introduced an exclusive Maison Margiela Edition of the Galaxy Z Flip 5, showcasing its second collaboration with the renowned French luxury fashion house.

Exclusive Fashion Collaboration Brings New Design

After their previous partnership on the Galaxy Z Flip 4, Samsung and Maison Margiela have again joined forces to create the Galaxy Z Flip 5 Maison Margiela Edition. This special edition phone is inspired by Maison Margiela’s unique deconstructive and refined design approach. It features a large archival box design, similar to those used in atelier stores for fabric samples, and is wrapped in woven book cloth fabric. The phone’s packaging also includes Maison Margiela’s signature jacket design. Buyers will receive two exclusive cases: a Flap Leather Case and a Flipsuit Case, enhancing the luxury and exclusivity of this edition.

Unique Features and Limited Availability

The phone boasts two exclusive wallpapers – Stitches and Trompe-L’oeil – adding to its distinct aesthetic appeal. The Stitches wallpaper showcases handwoven stitches, while the Trompe-L’oeil depicts the inner workings of a garment. The three-tiered box also contains a 25W charger and a USB Type-C cable. This edition will be sold in limited numbers in China, Hong Kong, and South Korea, and is available for KRW 2,497,000 for the 512GB model. A lottery system on Samsung’s official site will determine the buyers.

Standard Galaxy Z Flip 5 Model and Its Features

The standard Galaxy Z Flip 5 model, starting at Rs. 1,54,999 in India for the 12GB + 256GB variant, is available in multiple colors. It features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex primary display and a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED external panel. The phone includes a dual 12-megapixel rear camera setup with OIS and a 10-megapixel front camera.
