Return Salal and Uri Power Projects to Jammu Kashmir: Sunil Dimple
Sunil Dimple led a protest in Jammu against the Power Development Department (PDD) and the Public Health Engineering (PHE) department.
The protest was sparked by unscheduled long power cuts at night following the installation of smart meters, as well as an acute scarcity of drinking water in temperatures reaching 45 degrees Celsius.
During the demonstration, effigies of the PDD department were burnt. Dimple demanded the return of the Salal and Uri power projects to Jammu and Kashmir and called for an end to the supply of electricity from J&K to other states.
