Doda:14 April Ravinder Raina, President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir addressing the massive public rallies at Khellani, Marmat in Doda West, saluted the resilience, liveliness and nationalism of the local residents.Ravinder Raina accompanied by Shakti Raj Parihar, Vice-President, J&K BJP & former Minister, Vijay Mohan Thakur, District President, Rakesh, Ishtiaq Wani and other local leaders were greeted with the slogans of “Fir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar”.Ravinder Raina, while addressing the public, said that for the 70 years, Doda, Kishtwar, and Ramban areas were deprived of due development despite of supporting the successive governments led by NC, Congress, and PDP.
He said that the parties like NC, PDP and Congress disappointed the people on the name of region and religion for the decades together but never thought of developing the region.He insisted that the major development works, that included functional roads speak of the volumes of development that has been ensured by the Modi government and the endeavours of local MLA Shakti Raj Parihar.“Now, the NC, PDP and Congress leaders have to perform their roadshows on the roads and bridges built by Shakti Raj Parihar.
These leaders remained elusive all these years and now running from pillar to post to do roadshows during election times. The local people will now show them the door with a massive voting in favour of BJP’s MP candidate Dr Jitendra Singh on 19th April”, said Ravinder Raina.Raina recounted on the major public welfare schemes like Ayushman golden Health Card for the benefit of the poor and the needy.
He said that the Modi government has been ensuring free ration to the needy, which has been furthered extended for 5 more years. He, on the occasion, spoke of the vast respect that is now being given to every Indian due to the increased status of the India worldwide under the leadership of Narendra Modi.He also congratulated the people for the highest bridge on the Chenab.
He said that the development agenda initiated by the Modi government includes all the Indians from all sections. He further said that in the previous 10 years, PM Modi has only presented the overview of the mega development process that will take place in coming years.
