President Droupadi Murmu’s Visit to Meghalaya and Assam
President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to visit Meghalaya and Assam from January 15 to 17. During her visit, she will inaugurate the Meghalaya Games at the PA Sangma Stadium in Tura. The president will also address members of self-help groups at Baljek Airport, Tura, and virtually lay the foundation stone for the new Integrated Administration Complex in Tura.
Other activities include addressing a gathering at Mawphlang, inaugurating upgraded roads, laying foundation stones for the Shillong Peak Ropeway, and participating in the golden jubilee celebrations of the Karbi Youth Festival in Assam.
