Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a significant announcement as elections loom in five states, stating that his government will extend the free ration scheme for the poor for the next five years. During his election rallies in Durg and Ratlam, he shared this news and criticized the Congress party, accusing it of perpetuating poverty.
Empowering the Poor
PM Modi emphasized that his decision to extend the free ration scheme to 80 crore poor individuals across the country for the next five years is fueled by the affection and blessings he receives from the people. He pointed out that the money saved by the poor due to this extension will allow them to meet their other essential needs.
Guarantee of Modi
The Prime Minister assured the public that the extension of the free ration scheme is a “guarantee of Modi,” signifying his commitment to fulfilling this promise. He emphasized that a promise made by him will be kept.
Congress Criticism and Promises
In his rallies, PM Modi targeted the Congress, alleging that it has not offered anything to the poor except deception and has failed to understand their pain and suffering. He highlighted the importance of the BJP’s manifesto in fulfilling the dreams of the state’s residents and emphasized that the BJP delivers on its promises.
Allegations and Accountability
PM Modi also took a swipe at Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, referring to allegations related to a betting app and a currency seizure. He promised that agencies would investigate all scams in the state and hold those responsible accountable.
