In Krishnanagar, West Bengal, PM Modi kickstarted the day by unveiling projects totaling Rs 15,000 crore. The endeavors included the foundation stone laying for the Raghunathpur Thermal Power Station Phase II, inauguration of the Flue gas desulfurization system at Mejia Thermal Power Station, and the commencement of a vital road project on the Farakka-Raiganj Section of NH-12.
Major Projects in West Bengal:Revolutionizing Bihar’s Infrastructure Landscape
In the afternoon, the Prime Minister shifted his focus to Bihar, where he announced projects amounting to Rs 21,400 crore. Notable highlights included the inauguration and foundation stone laying of National Highway projects, construction of a six-lane bridge across River Ganga, and the initiation of twelve projects under Namami Gange to enhance sewage treatment facilities.
