Plane Carrying Skydivers Makes Emergency Landing at Mexico Beach, Resulting in 1 Fatality
In a distressing incident, a plane carrying four Canadian skydivers was forced to make an emergency landing on Bacocho beach in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico. The landing resulted in the death of a 62-year-old man who was on the beach at the time, according to the state civil defense’s office. The victim’s wife, present on the beach, thankfully escaped unharmed.
Fatal Emergency Landing at Popular Resort Town
The plane landed on a populated section of the beach, causing significant damage. Footage from Puerto Global revealed the aircraft had crashed into a turtle rescue center. Investigations are underway, with the civil defense statement providing limited details on the landing and the identities of those involved. The victim’s family is set to receive necessary support in the aftermath of this tragic incident.
Injured Skydivers Receive Medical Treatment
The four Canadian skydivers, aged between 35 and 60, along with a 40-year-old Mexican man, were promptly removed from the plane and transported for medical treatment. Fortunately, they are reported to be in stable condition. State Governor Salomon Jara assured that resources were being mobilized to support the injured individuals, expressing condolences to the family of the deceased and vowing to provide necessary assistance during this irreparable loss.
