Parliament’s Budget Session to Commence Today with President’s Address at 11 am
The Budget Session of Parliament is set to kick off with President Droupadi Murmu addressing a joint sitting of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
This session, the last before the Lok Sabha polls, spans 10 days with eight sittings. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is scheduled to present the interim budget on February 1.
Key agendas include obituary references, presentation of committee reports, and discussions on the interim Union Budget and the Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address.
The session may conclude on February 9, with a focus on financial business and essential legislative matters.
