In a significant development, the Odisha government and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the establishment of the Biju Patnaik Special Centre for Odia Studies at JNU. With a generous contribution from the state government, this initiative aims to delve into Odisha’s leadership, governance, and the contributions of the visionary leader Biju Patnaik. The centre will focus on promoting Odia studies through teaching, research, and cultural exploration.
