Crafted in harmony with the ever-evolving operational needs of the force, this new promotion policy reflects a significant step forward.An army official revealed that, as part of this initiative, a thorough review of the promotion policy for the selection of officers to the ranks of Colonels and above has been concluded.

Notably, the policy extends additional promotional prospects to officers in the Major General rank, officers approved for staff-only positions, and those eligible for promotion to the next rank in staff-only roles.
