No Eid Prayers at Eidgah, Says Wakf Board Jammu Kashmir Chairperson
Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board Chairperson Syed Darakhshan Andrabi has announced that Eid-ul-Fitr prayers will not be held at the historic Eidgah in Srinagar this year due to ongoing construction work.
Andrabi said that “Due to ongoing construction work, Eid prayers will not be held at Eidgah.”
She assured that alternative arrangements have been made at Hazratbal Shrine and other major shrines and mosques across Jammu and Kashmir.

“The largest congregation will be held at Hazratbal Shrine, where all necessary arrangements have been finalised in coordination with line departments,” she stated. (JKNS)
