NH-44 Closed in Ramban District Due to Road Damage and Landslides
On February 1, it was reported that the National Highway-44 in Ramban district faced a blockade due to road damage, shooting stones, and mud slush, according to an official statement on Thursday. Officials indicated that the section affected is located at Sherbibi, and efforts for restoration are currently in progress.
The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Traffic for National Highway stated, “NH 44 has been temporarily closed for traffic due to road damage at Sherbibi, along with shooting stones and mud slush at various other locations.” He added a plea to commuters, urging them not to travel until the restoration work is successfully completed. Further details on the situation are anticipated.
