New Rules for UP Assembly Winter Session; Women Members to Get Preference
The upcoming winter session of the Uttar Pradesh assembly, starting on November 28, introduces new regulations, including a ban on mobile phones, flags, and banners in the House.
Leaders will be restricted from bringing mobile phones, flags, or banners into the assembly, marking a significant change in the House’s rules.
Prioritizing Women’s Voices
Aligning with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s focus on women’s empowerment, women members of the assembly will be given preference in speaking opportunities during the session.
Alongside these changes, CM Yogi Adityanath recently inaugurated the ‘Hot Cooked Meal Scheme’ in Ayodhya for children aged 3 to 6 at Anganwadi centers, aiming to provide nutritious meals.
Guidelines for Meal Scheme Implementation
Detailed guidelines have been issued for the scheme’s implementation, involving joint efforts of workers and helpers from Anganwadi centers and school kitchens.
The scheme requires the collaborative preparation and distribution of mid-day meals and hot cooked food, with the Department of Child Development Services and Nutrition ensuring the supply of necessary ingredients.
Decision on Anganwadi Center Affiliation
The District Magistrate will decide on affiliating Anganwadi centers with nearby primary and upper primary schools for meal preparation, with Anganwadi workers assisting cooks in this task.
