Nawaz Pledges Dawn of February 9 to Carry Promise of Pakistan’s Prosperity
PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif exuded confidence in his party’s prospects for victory in the upcoming general elections during a public gathering in Kasur, where his brother Shehbaz Sharif is contesting. Sharif emphasized the commitment of the PML-N to initiate development projects if elected to power, aiming to steer the country back on course.
He criticized what he referred to as “fraudsters” and expressed concern over unfulfilled promises made by the previous government, particularly regarding housing and employment opportunities.
Reflecting on his government’s tenure, Sharif lamented its overthrow in 2017, asserting that under his leadership, the nation would have witnessed widespread employment opportunities.
He reiterated his vision for Pakistan to regain its status as an ‘Asian Tiger,’ highlighting the pivotal role of the youth in achieving this objective. Emphasizing the need to transcend ongoing crises and embrace development, Sharif urged collective efforts toward progress.
Addressing his brother Shehbaz Sharif, Nawaz called for resources to be allocated to Pakistani youth, underscoring their potential to transform the country’s destiny. He pledged to establish a Danish School in Khadian and improve the city’s infrastructure to resemble that of Paris.
In a recent address in Murree, Sharif promised a new train service connecting Islamabad to Murree and Muzaffarabad upon his party’s return to power.
