The distressing incident revolved around the murder of Gora Khan’s daughter and son-in-law. According to the official, Gora Raeesuddin Khan, aged 50, was implicated in the tragic demise of the couple, carried out with the assistance of his son and a close friend. The motive behind this heinous act was reportedly Gora Khan’s profound dissatisfaction with his daughter’s marriage to Karan Ramesh Chandra.

The grim discovery of Karan Ramesh Chandra’s lifeless body was made in the suburban locality of Govandi the previous Saturday. As Karan’s wife, Gulnaz, was conspicuously absent, suspicion immediately centered on her father, Gora Khan. Subsequently, Khan purportedly confessed to his involvement in the dual murders, attributing them to the fact that the couple had wed against his wishes.

The unfolding events led to the recovery of Gulnaz’s lifeless body in Navi Mumbai. In response to the investigation, Gora Khan, his son Salman, and Salman’s friend Kaif Khan were placed under arrest on charges of murder. They have been remanded in police custody until October 27, as authorities continue their in-depth inquiry into this grim case.
