
MLA Doda West – Shakti Raj Parihar, Holds Fruitful Meeting with LG Sinha to Discuss Development and Security Concerns
Doda, Jammu and Kashmir – In a significant development, MLA Doda West, Shakti Raj Parihar, met with the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, Manoj Sinha, to discuss pressing development and security issues affecting the Doda West assembly constituency. The meeting, held at the Lt. Governor’s office, focused on strengthening Village Defence Guards (VDGs) across Doda District, expediting the 21 Megawatt Dessa-Brahmdhar Hydroelectric Project, and addressing operational challenges facing the Anti-Corruption Bureau office in Doda.
Parihar emphasized the need to bolster VDGs to enhance security in the region, while also pushing for the swift sanctioning of the Dessa-Brahmdhar Hydroelectric Project to address power shortages and boost local development. Furthermore, Parihar brought to the Lt. Governor’s attention the non-functioning of the Anti-Corruption Bureau office in Doda due to the absence of an SSP-rank officer, despite the office’s establishment, and urged serious consideration to resolve this issue.

The Lt. Governor assured Parihar that these concerns would be addressed on priority, and efforts would be made to expedite development projects and improve security in Doda District.
The meeting was a significant step towards addressing the developmental needs and security concerns of the people of Doda West, and MLA Parihar expressed optimism that these issues would be resolved soon.
