Sarvesh Kumar Mishra, the City Superintendent of Police (SP), reported that they were alerted to the fire about an hour ago in the Kath Bazar area, where furniture work is carried out. He described the fire as significant and ongoing, with efforts to control it still in progress. In response to the emergency, the affected area was evacuated to ensure the safety of residents and shop owners.
