Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Doda, Abdul Qayoom, stated, “We were informed around 4:30 in the morning that several houses in the Bhaderwah area had caught fire, prompting the swift deployment of firefighters to the scene.

“In response to the alert, five fire tenders were dispatched, successfully bringing the blaze under control, according to officials.”According to the information available at this time, eight houses incurred damage during the fire.

Preliminary findings from the investigation indicate that a short circuit triggered the incident,” noted SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom.

Authorities also confirmed that, as of now, there have been no immediate reports of casualties or injuries resulting from the fire.
