JK SAMADHAN Training Programme Held in Kishtwar for Nodal Officers
Key Highlights:
- Introduction of JK SAMADHAN portal for efficient grievance redressal.
- Multilingual, AI-based interface for real-time grievance management.
- Developed with BISAG-N for transparent, accountable governance.
A training cum orientation programme was held in Kishtwar for District Level Nodal Officers to introduce JK SAMADHAN, a Unified Grievance Redressal & Monitoring System.
The event, conducted under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav IAS, aimed to educate participants about the new portal designed to enhance grievance redressal mechanisms for the public.
Participants were briefed on the action plan to promote awareness of the JK SAMADHAN portal. The session included an on-spot demonstration to facilitate easy navigation and utilization of the portal’s features.
This platform is a significant improvement over previous systems, JKIGRAMS and CPGRAMS, featuring a multilingual AI-based interface that automatically forwards grievances to the relevant departments.
Key functionalities include real-time updates on grievance status, prompt acknowledgments, and a multilingual voice response system. Advanced capabilities such as grievance prioritization, monitoring dashboards, and comprehensive reporting tools ensure transparency and accountability.
Resource person Sajjad Hussain led the training, sensitizing nodal officers from various departments. The unified grievance redressal system underscores the UT Administration’s commitment to good governance, aiming to establish transparent, inclusive, accountable, and responsive governance.
Nodal officers learned that the system offers a user-friendly interface dedicated to resolving complaints within a specified timeframe while ensuring the accountability of nodal officers. Citizens can lodge grievances via the call center, online mode, and the ‘JK SAMADHAN MOBILE APP.’
The portal (https://samadhan.jk.gov.in) supports multiple languages, allowing complaints to be written in English, Hindi, and Urdu.
Developed in partnership with the Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics (BISAG-N), the JK SAMADHAN portal enhances accessibility and responsiveness, ensuring timely redressal of public grievances and promoting a transparent, accountable, and corruption-free governance.
