Jammu and Kashmir Police are actively searching for Yasir Bhat, a suspect in a deadly grenade attack at a Jammu bus stand in 2019.

This attack resulted in the deaths of two people and injuries to 32 others. The police have taken significant steps to locate Bhat, including putting up posters across the city.

Bhat, who was a juvenile at the time of the attack, was identified as the perpetrator. The attack occurred on March 7, 2019, when suspected terrorists threw a grenade near a crowded bus stand.

Yasir Bhat was a known operative of the Hizbul Mujahideen, a militant group, and was allegedly instructed by Farooq Ahmed Bhat, also known as Omar, the District Commander of Hizbul Mujahideen in Kulgam.

Following his involvement in the grenade attack, Bhat was granted bail but has since gone missing. The police are concerned that he may have rejoined militant activities in Kashmir.

Authorities are urging the public to provide any information that could lead to his rearrest.
