JK Police Nabs Long-Sought Absconder
In a significant breakthrough, the Jammu and Kashmir Police District Ramban, led by SSP Ramban Sh. Anuj Kumar IPS, successfully apprehended an absconder evading arrest since 2018.
Intensive Search Yields Results
The dedicated police team, under the supervision of SSP Ramban, worked tirelessly to locate and arrest Sajjad Ahmed, who was wanted in an FIR registered in Police Station Ramban. Sajjad Ahmed, hailing from Batta Gund Panzoo Tehsil Dooru District Anantnag, had been evading capture following an offense under the Excise Act.
Efficient Collaboration Leads to Arrest
With a General Warrant of Arrest issued by the Hon’ble Court, the police team at PS Ramban intensified their efforts, culminating in the successful arrest of the absconder. Led by the SHO Ramban and supervised by DySP Hqrs Ramban and Adl.SP Ramban, the team’s coordinated efforts ensured the apprehension of the accused.
The accused, Sajjad Ahmed, was promptly presented before the Hon’ble Chief Judicial Magistrate Ramban to face legal proceedings. This arrest marks a significant victory for law enforcement in their ongoing efforts to ensure justice and uphold the rule of law in the region.
