The order, issued by the Department of Forest, Ecology & Environment, grants approval for the deployment of Mr. Ashish Bishnoi and Mr. Atharva Tiwari in various offices for their practical training.

According to Government Order No. 19-JK (FST) of 2025, the probationers will undergo training across different forest divisions, administrative offices, and field sites as per the schedule detailed in Annexure “A” of the order.

Training Details

The training will include attachments with:

Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) Office, Jammu

State/UT Administrative Training Institute (IMPARD, Jammu)

District Administrations of Baramulla and Udhampur

5 Police Officers Transferred in Udhampur District

Territorial and Range Forest Divisions in Baramulla, Panchari, and Udhampur

State Darshan Tour across designated forest circles

The training duration varies across departments, spanning from one week to eight weeks, under the mentorship of senior IFS officers.

Objectives of the Training

The programme aims to provide probationers with hands-on experience in forest governance, administration, and conservation strategies. The initiative is expected to enhance their practical knowledge before assuming independent roles in the service.

The government order, signed by Sheetal Nanda, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, has been circulated to key officials, including the Lieutenant Governor’s Office, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Forest Department authorities for compliance and implementation.

This structured training will ensure that the probationers are well-prepared to address forest conservation challenges, environmental policies, and administrative responsibilities in Jammu and Kashmir.
