JBL Go 4 Portable Speaker with Auracast Tech, 7-Hour Playback Launched
JBL Go 4, the latest addition to JBL’s portable speaker lineup, has been launched in China following its debut at CES 2024. The speaker boasts an updated chassis and a sturdier strap compared to its predecessor, the JBL Go 3. Notably, it incorporates 80 percent recycled plastic for the body and 100 percent recycled fabric for its speaker grille, showcasing JBL’s commitment to sustainability. Additionally, the JBL Go 4 offers multi-connection capability and is available in six vibrant color options.
Price and Availability
In China, the JBL Go 4 is priced at CNY 429 (roughly Rs. 4,900), with an introductory limited-time offer of CNY 399 (approximately Rs. 4,600). Official sales will commence on March 18. The speaker is also scheduled to launch in select European markets in April, priced at EUR 49.99 (around Rs. 4,500). Some markets may see the release by June.
Advanced Specifications
Despite its compact size, the JBL Go 4 packs impressive features. It supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity with LE audio and allows multi-speaker connection via Auracast technology. Furthermore, it boasts an IP67 rating for dust and splash resistance, ensuring durability in various environments.
Enhanced Performance
The JBL Go 4 offers up to seven hours of continuous playback time, with an additional two hours possible with Playtime Boost mode activated. Charging is convenient with its USB Type-C port. Users can further personalize their listening experience through the JBL Portable app, which enables customization of playback and EQ modes.
