
Jammu-Kashmir Floods: Airtel Services starts Tuning In | Jio Services Yet to be Resumed

The Jammu Kashmir union territory has witnessed a heavy, massive, and lengthy spell of rainfall which flooded the entire valley and parts of the Jammu division, also affecting power supply, roads, heavy infrastructure loss, and mobile call/internet service disruptions.
As per officials, optical fibres have suffered heavy damage across parts of Jammu Kashmir, on which the work has been carried out. Officials earlier on Monday alleged that mobile call/internet and broadband services would be resumed in the evening, but users have shown strong disarray over the execution work.
Phone, internet services restored in JK
As per reports, Airtel operator services have been restored, though issues are persistent in phone calls. Whereas, the Jio operator is facing heavy damage which has not yet been restored as per social media users.

Other telecom operators Vodafone, Idea, and BSNL have been partially restored as per the last update. However, ground situations show the difference rather than oral statements.
Earlier, officials added that due to fibre cuts at different locations, it would consume time to repair and restore the services.
