In a significant development related to narco-terrorism, the State Investigation Unit (SIU) Baramulla has presented a charge sheet before the court of Additional Sessions Judge (NIA Court) Baramulla. The charge sheet implicates six individuals, including Mohd Aslam Khatana, Muneer Ahmad Din, Bilal Ahmad Dar, Akhtar Niyaz Bhat, and Mudasir Yousuf Goknu, who are currently under judicial custody. Additionally, Mohd Hassan Awan, residing in Tehsil Bagh PoK, has been named in the charge sheet.

The accused individuals face charges related to their alleged roles in narco-terrorism, highlighting the interconnected issues of smuggling, terrorism, and cross-border activities orchestrated by terror networks. The legal proceedings underscore the efforts to address and curb such activities with a focus on national security.
