India’s Global Influence Recognized: S Jaishankar
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar highlighted India’s changing stature globally, noting that no major world issue is decided without New Delhi’s consultation. He emphasized India’s independence and the need to manage its interests, stating that India, as a 5000-year-old civilization, cannot be part of somebody else’s subsidiary or enterprise. Jaishankar spoke about the country’s transformation, its significant economic growth, and the world recognizing India’s talent, resulting in increased investments. He underlined the importance of managing relationships with different countries, citing India’s involvement in groupings like Quad and BRICS.
